2025 Update - My name is Emmanuel and I attend Rebirth Academy in Kenya.  I live at Rebirth Children's Home and one of my favorite things to do is play volleyball. May God bless you!   Translated interview 2/2022 - My mother died during child labor. The baby died too. My father didn’t handle this very well and he told everyone he was going to Uganda to prepare a fundraiser for the funeral, but he ran away. I don’t know if he is still alive. Our grandma was very old but she took us in anyway. She had a lot of problems. She couldn’t afford rent, bedding, food or basic supplies. One day Bishop was doing evangelism and he heard about how we had nothing in our house. Bishop brought my grandma what she needed in the house like a chair, food, and supplies. He then took us to the orphanage to live. We had never learned before. Now we know how to learn.
