Amos comes from a very poor family. His father is sick and unable to provide, leaving his mother to work tirelessly in other people’s farms just to earn enough for their daily needs. Despite these struggles, Amos holds on to hope for a brighter future—but he cannot reach it alone. Beverlyne is a hardworking and determined young woman pursuing a course in Nursing. She comes from a very poor family that believes deeply in the value of education. In their effort to support her dream, her family sold everything they owned to pay part of her school fees. Despite this great sacrifice, they were unable to clear the full balance. As a result, Beverlyne was denied the opportunity to sit for her final examinations last year due to the outstanding fee balance. She is expected to report back to college to begin her second year, but she cannot do so unless both the remaining balance from last year and her second-year fees are paid. Beverlyne has a strong desire to become a nurse so she can care for others and give back to her community.
