WALK FOR KENYA NOW Event is September 20th! 🗓️

Participant Arrival: Please arrive between 8:00AM and 8:40AM and check-in at the Kenya Now tent located at the York Beach Ballfield.
We'll kick things off with a welcome and announcements at 8:45AM, and then hit the walking path promptly at 9:00AM.
The event will conclude at 12:00pm, but participants are welcome to stay and enjoy the area afterward!
Find our Kenya Now tent at York Beach Ballfield at 18 Railroad Ave, York, ME. The out-&-back course is set on sidewalks along the beach with the option of walking along the beautiful sandy shoreline. Check out the course map at the bottom of this page.
Public metered parking is available at the lot near Short Sands Beach (Ellis Park). There is also metered street parking along Ocean Ave and Beach St. The Short Sands Beach parking lot and nearby street parking spaces require payment at $4/hour between 8 AM and 10 PM. Kiosks accept credit cards and cash, and you can also use the Pay Station app by scanning the square QR code displayed at each space. Note your parking space number when paying.
Public restrooms are located along the course at both Short Sands and Long Sands beach. While there is a porta potty at the Ballpark, we understand that this may not be your preferred means of doing business. The nearest public restroom with running water is a short stroll from the ballpark at Short Sands Beach near the parking lot.
